Raymond Léger

 

Raymond Léger is a retired trade unionist. He worked in the labour movement as a research representative for the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) and as a representative for the Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Union, local 1065. He holds a master’s degree in history from the Université de Moncton. He was one of the researchers with the New Brunswick labour history project. He worked as a representative on pensions from 1987 until his retirement in 2011. He was also involved in pension training for CUPE and the Canadian Labour Congress. Since his retirement he has done some work for unions on pensions.
